Manchester Acoustic Blues Festival 'MABS Fest' 21-22 June 2015 to host the European Blues Awards

As a component of this year’s independent Manchester Biennial Nowt Part Of Festival, the Manchester Acoustic Blues Festival ‘MABS Fest’ returns with a world class line up and runs from 21-22 June. The Sunday sessions starts at 4.00pm and runs until 10.30pm. Monday 22nd from 7pm hosts the European Blues Awards that were postponed from Blues Fest UK at the Royal Albert Hall London following the sudden tragic passing of award winner Jack Bruce last October.

Acts from right across the globe include headliner Ryan McGarvey from the USA who ends his current UK tour at the event, Kyla Brox and Bluesman Mike Francis on Monday, with France’s Peter Von Toy, Sisters in Grease, Peter Price, Mal Gibson and Dai Thomas getting things under way on Sunday. All performances will be in the bespoke new venue at the Eagle Inn, Collier Street, Salford and entry is by advanced ticket only.

Early bird tickets priced at £8 (Sunday) & £9 (Monday) are available from Skiddle.com online http://www.skiddle.com/festivals/mabs2015/ Any remaining tickets to go to full price after Tuesday 16th June. (Advance booking advised due to limited capacity of venue).
